POLICIES
HIV/AIDS Policy - Summary
Phuthanang Protective Workshop is committed to a non-discriminatory and supportive environment for all members, staff, and visitors regardless of HIV status. We promote awareness, education, and prevention through workshops and access to information, while ensuring confidentiality and respect for privacy at all times. No member will be excluded from programmes, training, or opportunities due to their HIV status. Online Reputation Management Policy - Summary Phuthanang Protective Workshop is committed to maintaining a positive and accurate online presence that reflects our mission to improve human dignity. All social media posts, website content, and online interactions must respect member privacy, use appropriate images with consent, and respond to feedback professionally. Staff and volunteers must report any negative or false online content to management immediately for proper response.

Health & Wellness
Compile an integrated brand marketing plan for Phuthanang.
Members learn professional sewing, embroidery, and overlocking skills. Products including bed linen are made and sold, generating income for the workshop and providing members with marketable trade skills.

Food Gardening
Our food garden grows fresh produce for use in the kitchen and teaches members practical agricultural skills. Supported by Siyabonga Africa, 18 members have received formal gardening training.

ABET Training
Adult Basic Education and Training (ABET) from Level 1 to Level 4 is offered on-site. 15 members have completed their certificates, opening pathways to formal employment and further studies.
